This Website Up & Running
Well ... finally I have ropy.org up and running again. I've switched hosting to linode.com - a VPS for a change. Linode seem to have a great product with superb direct control over all aspects of a server.
This is so much more flexible than a shared hosting package (such as my previous host - Bluehost ), and allows me to configure everything directly to my liking. I also tried Slicehost in the process of choosing a VPS - another great offering, however my early experiences tell me that Linode tops it for performance and functionaility from their control panel / account area. Only thing lacking for me with Linode is a good iPhone app, which Slicehost does have. Oh well, I guess the API is there for anyone to tinker with - let's hope that an iPhone app is in someone's timeline.
